Elk

The elk has long been one of my favourite animals. The haunting call of a bull elk during the autumn rut is a sound that never fails to capture his attention. For me, sound plays a big role in shaping which animals resonate with him most, and the bugle of the elk, echoing through the valley, secures its place near the very top of my list.
